Through this portal

Part of the series Synthetic Cities, Organic Lives (Urban Haikus) "Lights hum overhead strangers breathing the same air quiet tales unfold" I took a photo from one U-Bahn wagon looking into the next and tried something new. I painted it on a round base to mimic a ship’s window and added a thin plexiglass layer on top to create a real window feel. It was an experiment, not perfect, but I like how it pulls you into the wagon. You see people lost in their own world, maybe heading home after work, and you travel with them for a moment.
