Picnic time

Under the vast canopy of this 243-year-old tree, a family finds shade. My goal was to express my fascination using an impressionistic approach, capturing a fleeting yet momentous slice of time. It made me think of the completely different lives people lived here over two centuries ago. Even then, I’m sure they sat right here, talking to each other or lost in thoughts. Just as we do.
