In this work, the face appears split, at once present and slipping away. The translucent veil and displaced reflections transform the portrait into a dialogue with its own shadow — with those facets of the self that usually remain concealed. Solitude emerges here as a polyphony of the inner world, where vulnerability is not a sign of weakness but an opening through which multiple, truthful selves can be seen at once
