Vivian Malloy

Vivian Malloy was born in germany 1999 and is drawing and painting since she could hold a pen. Her art is like a language of its own for her; a way to express things she cannot explain in words. She is influenced by the things that occupy her mind like trauma, ideals of the body and beauty, codes of conduct, sexual desire, and the shame and stigma surrounding it. Vivian also is fascinated by anything that is in some way offbeat; things like trash movies or the children's book „Struwwelpeter“, for instance, have likely shaped her aesthetic. She had a studio in münster for years and is now based in berlin.
