LAURA LUZIA is a Berlin-based abstract artist creating large-scale paintings that explore movement, tension, and transformation. She builds layered surfaces through continuous working and reworking, where earlier decisions are both obscured and exposed. Forms stretch, collapse, and mutate, almost like a creature taking shape. This process draws on an early fascination with labyrinths: spaces where things shift between presence and disappearance, where perspective follows its own logic and paths can lead the eye astray.
