Biography
““Painting the spaces between lighthearted fun and profound beauty.””
Raised in Oklahoma and now based in the Arizona desert, I create mixed‑media work centered on acrylic paint and sculpted texture. Acrylic is the foundation of my practice, used both on its own and layered over joint compound to build dimensional surfaces. I incorporate crushed glass and blacklight‑reactive pigments to introduce light, reflection, and energy, allowing each piece to shift with perspective. My process blends structure and spontaneity, using texture, color, and luminosity to guide the emotional tone. Ranging from playful vibrancy to deeper, more contemplative work, my art transforms everyday materials into contemporary, expressive pieces. As my practice evolves, I continue to explore how acrylic, texture, and light can communicate what words often leave unsaid.
