I am Chary K (Purnama Chary Kagithala), a contemporary visual artist working within Surrealist and figurative practices. My artistic foundation is shaped by formal fine art education, including a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Osmania University, alongside technical teacher training studies. My practice is driven by disciplined draftsmanship, sustained studio research, and conceptual clarity. Through Surrealism and visual metaphor, my works explore identity, transition, desire, displacement, and psychological interiors. I work across acrylic, oil, charcoal, watercolour, pastel, and mixed media, allowing material to intensify emotional and spatial narratives. My compositions balance realism with dream-like altered realities, creating immersive and introspective visual worlds. I have participated in more than 20 exhibitions, including solo and international group shows across India, the UK, Brazil, Spain
