Blazir is a Polish-born, Berlin-based Contemporary Digital & New Media Artist working across photography, moving image, digital art and installation. From 1998 to 2018, he worked in television as a director, producer, cinematographer and video editor. Since moving to Berlin, he has focused exclusively on independent artistic projects. His practice explores perception, transformation and the changing relationship between humans, technology and their environment. His ongoing photographic series Transhumans (2022–present) considers every human being as a “transhuman” — continuously transformed by time, technology, medicine, psychology and experience. His work also includes digital paintings and minimalist media installations, such as The Systems and The Weight of Motion, exploring the tension between the material and the immaterial, structure and movement. Blazir has participated in numerous exhibitions in Berlin, Warsaw, Paris and other.
